You do NOT have to fit the theme! Some people already have ideas and they are hilarious.

“Hej!” Or “Hello there!” in Danish. The Vikings were expert sailors, raiders, and traders in the Early Middle Ages. The Vikings come from the region of Scandinavia which consist of Norway 🇳🇴 Sweden 🇸🇪 and Denmark 🇩🇰. A Viking example can be seen here in Mr. Hicks’ World History class.

We are aware of the rumors circulating on social media concerning a potential threat to Branford High School. After thorough investigation, both law enforcement and school officials have confirmed that these claims are entirely false.
The individuals responsible for spreading these false reports have been identified, and appropriate disciplinary measures have been taken in accordance with school policy.
At Branford High School, the safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority. We will continue to work closely with law enforcement to ensure a secure environment for our school community.
We appreciate the vigilance and support of our students, parents, and community members as we strive to maintain a safe and positive atmosphere at BHS.

To wrap up their study on the 3 Branches of Government, Ms. Winnett's American Government students chose a branch of government and turned it into a Superhero! Characters demonstrated their strengths and weaknesses, and even introduced their own catch phrases By combining knowledge, creativity, and leadership, the students were able to showcase their learning in a way that was fun for everyone!
Any girls 6th-12th grade interested in Weightlifting this upcoming season. There will be a meeting 9/10 @ 6pm in the BHS Auditorium. Please contact Amanda Clark if you have any questions.

Monday, August 12th, Branford High School will host our Drop-in Open House.
Everyone is to park in the Junior and Senior lots, located off of NE Governor Ave. Entrance to the event will be through the student gate in front of the Senior Lounge, where schedule pickup will be located.
6th - 12th graders may come on campus between 8:00am and 12:00pm to tour the campus and meet their teachers. We are asking that students check in with their 1st period teachers once they get their schedules.
6th grade parents and students may join the 6th grade team for an informational meeting at either 8am or 11am in the cafeteria. This is not required but encouraged.
Reminder that schedules are available to students on FOCUS starting TODAY!

Beginning this Friday, August 9th, students who attend Branford High School, may come by and pick up their schedules between 8am and 12pm.
Monday, August 12th, will serve as a parent/guardian time to Meet the Teachers and tour our campus from 8am to 12pm. You may drop in at anytime!
Senior Breakfast will be held @ The Gathering 7am-8:15am.

Dates range from August 5-9, with specified "Meet Your Teacher" times being announced soon.
Each backpack includes a variety of supplies to help students of all ages.
The Wellness Clinic will be temporarily closing due to construction starting June 17, 2024, for a period of five weeks. This closure is essential as we undergo much-needed renovations aimed at enhancing the functionality and overall patient experience within the clinic. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that these improvements will greatly benefit all who seek our services. Please stay tuned for updates on our grand reopening, expected toward the end of July. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back to an even better Wellness Clinic soon.

The Suwannee County School District is excited to offer a summer feeding program!
The program is available to anyone under the age of 18.
Open Site: Suwannee High School.
Breakfast runs from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Lunch is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Other sites (Branford Elementary, Suwannee Middle, Pineview Elementary, Riverside Elementary, Springcrest Elementary and the Suwannee River Regional Library) will offer breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Every Thursday, except July 4th, meals can be picked up between 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Suwannee High and Branford Elementary.
